Dawson MMP Ltd – A Statement From Serviceline


Ali Group S.p.A recently announced the intention to reposition the UK distribution of the brands currently sold via Dawson MMP Ltd. A key part of this arrangement will see the Dawson field service team transferring to Serviceline*, and with them, the skills knowledge and expertise on the products and brands they support.

Serviceline are working closely with Dawson MMP throughout the transfer process to ensure robust and effective service support arrangements continue.

Serviceline already operates an extensive national network of over 100 skilled engineers supporting all areas of commercial cooking, warewash and refrigeration equipment for the commercial catering industry. Carrying extensive ISO accreditations to underpin the quality, safety, environmental and energy management standards that are all more frequently demanded by foodservice industry clients.

The addition of Dawson engineers, will further enhance and complement the support and service offered to the food service industry throughout the UK.

The Springboard charity helps young people achieve their potential and provides skills development programmes for unemployed of any age to gain work within the hospitality, leisure and tourism industries. Now in their 14th year, the Springboard award dinner and celebration of excellence within our industry was held at Novotel London West, Thursday 24th November 2016.

Serviceline were once again proud sponsors of the event with over 550 people in attendance celebrating the outstanding work and new initiatives across the industries. Sales and marketing director, Graham Skinner (pictured) was a key member of the judging panel and presented the Education and Industry Partnership Award to QHotels who won three awards on the night for their education, recruitment and digital media practices throughout the year.

Graham Skinner commented on the event “The Springboard awards are always a fantastic evening, 2016 showcased once again the great work and focus on personal development being undertaken by many within the industry. Congratulations to those who won an award for their achievements in 2016.”

As a result of meeting our emissions targets towards ISO 50001 we are investing in vehicle monitoring and route planning systems. This new technology, now provided to all of our nationwide kitchen and refrigeration engineers calculates the most efficient route from customer to customer. In addition to a reduction of time spent in traffic this new system will reduce vehicle mileage and the carbon footprint of the vehicles.
